On successful completion of this course, students will receive the National ITE Certificate (Nitec) in Food & Beverage Operations awarded by Institute of Technical Education which is recognised by the Singapore government.
Course Objectives
This course provides students with the basic knowledge and skills in the fundamentals in food and beverage services, in preparation for their qualification and career in the hospitality industry.
Course Duration for National ITE Certificate (Nitec) in Food & Beverage Operations
12 months full time study includes:
6 months: Theory and Practical Lessons
6 months: Industry attachment in Food & Beverage outlets approved by ITE. These outlets include hotels, country clubs, restaurants, resorts and cafes. A monthly allowance will be paid to the trainees during this period.

Upon completion of Diploma in Hospitality Management, students’ could progress to the Advanced Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality Management Programme, which consists of:
6 months of Theoretical Studies
6 – 12 months of Applied Internships to the USA, New Zealand
If the school for any reasons does not commence any course on time, the school would seek the agreement of the enrolled students to defer the commencement of such course to a mutually agreed date. If any student does not agree to such deferment of the course, the school would make a full refund within 14 days.
If the students for any valid reasons could not attend the enrolled course in time, the school would allow the student to join the next available course within six months.

All international students with Student's Pass must meet all of the following requirements:
A student must attend a minimum of 90% of scheduled course hours or not to be absent from the course for consecutive 7 days.
A student must not engage in any form of activities that may contravene the conditions (including those stated in the Student's Pass application form, In-principle Approval letter and Student's Pass Card) in which a Student's pass in issued (e.g. illegal employment)
A student must not remain in Singapore after the expiry of the Student's Pass and the PEO shall inform ICA of his/her means and dates of departure.
A student is only permitted to attend the course after approval of the Student's pass has been given by ICA.
A student must not be retained as a student in any other school/s or course/s other than indicated in the Student's pass.
A student must surrender the Student's Pass for cancellation within seven days from the date of cessation or termination of his/her studies or course/s.
Hours requirement for full-time international students.
Full-time international students should spend at least 7 hours in the school per school day, attending classes and tutorials, participating in enrichment activities and doing self-study.
Note Please note that all original documents must be presented for verification. Official translation of the documents in required if they are not in the English language.
Please ensure that all forms are duly completed and signed by the applicant and local sponsor.
Applications with incomplete forms or documents will NOT be accepted for processing.
Applicant and local sponsor will have to furnish additional documents and information whenever necessary.
The application can be submitted by either the applicant or the local sponsor. All female applicants between 15 and 45 yeas old must be present to declare whether she is pregnant at the time of submission.
Medical check-up is required for all applications of social visit pass of 6 months or more. This is a requirement by Ministry of Health. Applicant would only be informed of the need to go for medical check-up if approval is granted. In the meantime, a 2-month extension of stay would be granted to the applicant to complete the medical examination. (The above requirement is not applicable to an applicant below 15 years old).
